Make Laptops Becoming Hotspot / Access Point with Ubuntu

With many service options available today, the more easier foreveryone to be able to cheap internet connection. Well, sometimes there thinking how to become cheaper and effective to use a USBModem owned so it can be used as an internet connection that can be shared (sharing). Or if the language of Internet is to make a USB Modems Laptops that have functioned as an Access Point /Hotspot.


It turned out very easy with Ubuntu.:
1. Click the Network Manager icon, then select / click Create NewWireless Network
2. Fill in the Network Name, Select Password and enter theWireless Security Key

Name of My Network content: Wifi1, Wireless Securities choose:"WEP 40/128-bit Key" (so that wireless can also be accessed by Windows) and password as you wish. Click Create. Up here youhave successfully made the Wireless Network, and after a while an Ubuntu system will convey the information that has the WirelessNetwork Connect as shown in the picture:
 
3. On the other laptop (Ubuntu Sabily) I will demonstrate howconnections. Click the Network Manager icon. Can be seen thatthere is a connection that can be used (available) is Wifi1. ClickWifi1
4. Dialog box will appear: Wireless Key Securities and Password,in order to be selected and loaded as the data above, then clickConnect ... Well Laptops already connect to the Internet via Wifi1
5. If tomorrow the next day will enable Wifi1 back, no need to make new connections, but just click the Network Manager -> Create New Wireless Network. In the Connection Name select Wifi on top(typically ask the user password) -> click Create
